Introduction
oh-my-workflow (omw) runs whole coding-agent CLIs as nodes in a plain-JS workflow. It is built for independent repo checks that run in parallel and assemble one result from shape-validated node outputs while journaling failures.
Quickstart
Requires Bun 1.3.10+. The fake adapter needs no API key or agent call; bunx uses the network to fetch the exact npm release:
bunx oh-my-workflow@0.5.0 run examples/deep-research --agent fake --pretty
Install the skill
Install the bundled authoring skill for Codex. Omit --codex for Claude, or use --opencode for OpenCode:
bunx oh-my-workflow@0.5.0 skill install --codex
The hooks
agent(prompt, opts?) → Promise<T | null>Run one coding-agent CLI node. With a schema, omw validates and re-prompts the node with the errors up to 2×. Ordinary failures return null; direct budget admission and journal failures stop the run, while parallel and pipeline convert thrown work to null.
pipeline(items, …stages) · parallel(thunks)Per-item flow vs. barrier. Default to pipeline.
Adapters
A node is a coding agent driven through its headless prompt→result CLI: fake, claude, codex, hermes. A missing CLI exits 3 with an install hint.
